What philosophies can we take from the life of a cat?

Cats, who doesn't know this one animal, how they are, how they behave, and what their habits are. Sometimes we feel amused or maybe even scared because of their behavior. Maybe this sounds commonplace among us. But do you know that behind their habits there is a beautiful philosophy that we can take as an example for us to live this life? Here are the habits of cats that we can take positive lessons for living life.

1. Enjoys playing with the employer

In general, all cats love to play with their owners, this seems like one of their needs.

Philosophy: We as humans need something called socializing, maybe yes we can live without socializing with the outside world. But surely we will feel lonely and in torment because basically, humans are social creatures who need others to live. According to Abraham Maslow's theory, humans have 5 basic needs, namely physiological, security and safety, social, reward, and self-actualization needs. This theory explains that humans need friends, family, love, praise, gifts, etc. If we are not social then how can we possibly get it all? So the point is that socializing is a necessity for every human being.

2. Stealing Fish

Maybe some of us have had fish, chicken, or their food stolen by cats. Even in a popular society with one saying that reads "shy cat". The proverb originates from the attitude of a cat who acts unwillingly towards the existing fish, but when it is served or no one sees it, they (read: cat) will immediately brush and take the fish away mysteriously. What we need to know is that the cat will always wait patiently and make sure the owner is off guard and doesn't see him. And when the opportunity arises, they will immediately act to steal the food.

Philosophy: Be patient with everything, because in general everything requires good timing to succeed in getting what you want. And when the opportunity arises, beat it up, friend, don't waste the opportunity because the opportunity doesn't come for the second time.

3. Move the child when it is disturbed

It is the instinct of a cat mother who often moves her kittens from one place to a safe place. This is manifested when the children are caught by humans. Here we see the problem of trust (read: trust), even though the cat knows that the one who knows is his own employer but they will still not believe and will still move the kittens.

Philosophy: No matter how familiar, no matter how close we are to someone we must still leave a little suspicion for him. because we never know what's on his mind, we also don't know what he's planning for us. Coz people change with time, we will never know what they will do in the future. It does not even rule out the possibility that what is actually good can turn into evil and do bad things to us. and we should also be wise, as wherever we believe in people, we must be careful and should put a small place in our hearts not to believe them.

4. Digging the soil before throwing away the water

Instinctively cats will always dig the ground before throwing water and when they finish throwing water they (read: cats) will cover it again. What do you think the purpose is? According to the fairy tale they carried out this activity so that their traces would not be discovered by their nemesis, the dogs. Because burying their feces can cover the trail that has been made so that the dog will have trouble tracking the cat trail.

Philosophy: We have to think about everything before we act, make sure we already know and understand what we will do and what the risks are before doing something, to minimize the occurrence of things that we don't want in the future.

5. Refuse to be bathed

Not all cats volunteer to be bathed by their masters. Sometimes those who are usually tame and gentle can immediately rebel when we do things that they don't like. Cats would reject it, and would never like it, but every time they finished being bathed they would be cleaner and more fragrant.

Philosophy: We shouldn't be afraid to try new things or things we never liked in life. because even if we don't like it doesn't mean it's bad for us, and sometimes it can be what makes us better.

6. Take a nap during the day and do activities at night

Cats are nocturnal animals who will often sleep or rest during the day and have activities at night.

Philosophy: Time Management as best as possible do everything while still you can.

7. Scratching Walls, chairs or others

Perhaps many of the cat owners are annoyed with this habit, because it can damage the walls and chairs of the employer. But did you know that cats scratch on walls or chairs for one reason: to sharpen their nails for necessities such as hunting or climbing when they need it.

Philosophy: Prepare long before we do it. Prepare everything for use and use in the future.

8. Playing with Prey

Why do mice play first after being hunted, not eaten immediately. When it comes to cat mice it will try to play with its prey to make sure they won't escape or memphp the cat.

Philosophy: We have to make sure everything we do is completely finished and there are no mistakes that can make us regret it.
